On August 22nd at approximately 3:15 p.m. the Chevy Chase Bank located at 3519 Connecticut Avenue was robbed and an undetermined amount of money was stolen. The suspect is described as a black male between 50-55 years old, approximately 5'11" 165lbs. with black hair, medium complexion and a salt and pepper mustache. He was last seen wearing a tan colored hat with the word "Movers" written on it and a tan colored button down shirt. He was last seen walking westbound on Ordway Street from the bank. No weapon was displayed or mentioned. This case is currently be investigated by the MPD/FBI Robbery Task Force.
